How do I open an account?

Request The Flex-funds Investor Information Kit, containing fund information, applications, and a prospectus. You can call The Flex-funds Shareholder Services toll free at 800-325-3539, or request a new account kit online. You can also download applications and prospectus online. Read the prospectus carefully before investing.

After selecting the funds you would like to invest in, complete the New Account Application and a check for your initial investment payable to the fund(s) you are investing in.

Once we receive your application and initial investment, we will send you a welcome kit including your first Confirmation Statement and your Personal Identification Number (PIN). Your PIN may be used to access your account over the phone and through our web site.


How do I make contributions?
You can make contributions to your Flex-funds® account by check or wire transfer payable to the specific fund.

Can I trade within my account?

Yes, you can trade among all The Flex-funds® within your account. First, contact a Flex-funds® Shareholder Services representative and request to make a trade. Please state the name of the fund(s) you are trading from, the share or dollar amount you would like to trade, and the fund(s) you would like to trade to. The trade will take place the same business day as long as the call or fax is received before 4:00pm EST.

Requests for trades into or out of The Money Market Fund must be received by 12:00pm in order to be executed that business day. A confirmation statement will be mailed the following day to the address of record.


Can I trade online, or submit a transaction request online?

The Flex-funds will not accept trade requests submitted through this web site or via email. You may buy, sell, or exchange shares of a fund by mail or by telephone, as described in The Flex-funds®' prospectus. For more information on The Flex-funds®' transaction policies, please call The Flex-funds® Shareholder Services at 800-325-3539.


How do I make withdrawals?

Contact The Flex-funds® Shareholder Services and request a withdrawal from your account. Please state the name of the fund you are redeeming from, and the share or dollar amount of the withdrawal. The withdrawal will take place on the same business day that we receive your request, as long as it is received before 4:00pm EST. Withdrawal requests for shares held in The Money Market Fund must be received by 12:00pm in order to be executed on the same business day.

The funds can either be sent by wire or by check. Funds sent by wire will be transferred the following business day and should be received by your bank before 6pm that day. If funds are sent by regular mail, the check will be prepared on the following business day and mailed to the address of record.

You may also wish to take advantage of our Systematic Withdrawal Program, if you would like to plan to make withdrawals on your account on a regular basis. You must have at least $10,000 in your account to take advantage of this service. Contact Shareholder Services for more information.


Can I write checks from my Flex-funds® Money Market Fund account?

Yes, you can write checks from your Flex-funds Money Market Fund account. Upon request, we can provide a supply of drafts, which may be used to draw against your Money Market Fund account. Drafts may be written in any amount greater than $100. To use this privilege you must complete the check writing redemption feature on the New Account Application or contact a Shareholder Services representatives.

If you write a check over the amount of shares in your account, you will be charged a $15 fee for returning your check. You may request a stop payment on any draft and The Flex-funds® transfer agent will attempt to carry out your request. The transfer agent cannot guarantee that such efforts will be successful. As the bank charges The Money Market Fund for this service, your account will be charged a $29.00 fee for any such request that becomes effective.


How do I order more checks?

Use the reorder stub in the middle of your Money Market Fund check booklet. Mail this stub to:

You can also contact Shareholder Services and request a reorder of checks. Please wait seven to ten business days for delivery. Your checks will be mailed to the address of record on your account.


Can I rollover my 401(k) to The Flex-funds®?

Yes, we would be happy to help you roll over any assets you have in a qualified retirement plan, including a 401(k) plan or existing IRA, into an IRA with The Flex-funds®. Please contact Shareholder Services and request a Rollover IRA Kit or download the necessary forms online. You will receive fund information, a prospectus, an IRA application, and a Transfer Request form. Please read the prospectus and complete both applications as directed, and mail them to The Flex-funds® Shareholder Services for processing.

Once your application and the transfer request are received, we will establish your account and begin the process of transferring your assets from your qualified plan to your Flex-funds IRA. When your funds have been received, we will deposit the money into your account and purchase shares in the funds that you select on your IRA application. After your purchase, we will mail a confirmation statement to the address of record on your account.
